Shooting For Children

We encourage shooting by responsible children of all ages but only if they are closely supervised one on one by responsible and qualified parents or other adults who have current PALs or POLs.

Long Guns

We provide the following good quality firearms made especially for children:

A single shot Henry bolt .22 rifle.

A Henry lever action .22 rifle.

A Stoeger .410 double barreled shotgun.

Handguns

Although we do not provide handguns, responsible children may shoot handguns as well but only if they are closely supervised one on one by responsible and handgun qualified parents or other adults who have current PALs or POLs. We recommend .22s or other low recoil handguns such as .38s.

Parents or other adults must be approved by the board before they can supervise children.
