Community relations are very important to a shooting club. We have to be part of the community our club is in. We do this in various ways. Sponsoring local childrens' hockey and baseball teams is one approach that has given us a great deal of satisfaction and good community rapport. Hosting large matches which bring a lot of money into the community is another good way. Finally, setting up shooting days for members of our community such as our turkey shoots and our senior shoots is also helpful. We like to feel that the township of East Quillimbury regards us as an asset.
